Muse Coils Ltd. is a one-man company driven to deliver acoustic perfectionism into the products it offers, only to ensure one thing – stunning long term musical experiences for its customers.

How we treat your personal data?

Protecting your personal data is a major priority for us.
We therefore seek to ensure their security by implementing appropriate organizational and technical measures in accordance with the existing legislation, which includes, but is not limited to, the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 04/27/2016) and the Personal Data Protection Act which is in force and applicable in the Republic of Bulgaria where we are seated.
This policy describes our practices in collecting and processing personal data and informs you on your rights as data subjects.

What personal data do we collect, from whom, in what way and why?

We receive your personal data from you when you use our services and products and when you communicate with us. We collect the data through special forms on our Site, as well as via e-mail correspondence, Telegram chat or through other forms permitted by law. We collect your data mainly in connection with your contractual relations with us or as an employees of our partners and contractors. In the latter case, your personal data may also be provided to us by your employer who should notify you in timely manner about this data sharing.
We do not collect or process personal information about you more than is allowed by the law or is necessary for the provision of our services and products to you, to fulfil the contracts to which we are party (e. g. when you buy a product from us and for billing), and to meet the expectations you have for us in our relations.

You can visit our Site without giving us any personal data.

Contact form

When you use the contact form on our website to communicate with us, your name and e-mail are stored together with the subject and content of your message. Please, do not provide us with personal information which is not necessary to us for the provision of our services to you.

Purchases

When you choose to buy a product from us, we collect from you billing details, such as your first and last name, company (optional), country/region, street address, more details about your address like apartment, unit, suite, etc. (optional), city or town, state, ZIP, phone number and e-mail address. This details identify you as our customer and help us execute the contract with you and deliver you the purchased product. They are also used for billing purposes.

Personal data of our partners’ and contractor’s employees or agents

When we collect such data they are limited to what is necessary and typically these are names, job title and contact details such as e-mail and/or phone number and/or address.

Children’s Privacy

Our services and products are not directed to persons under 18 years of age and if you provide information about yourself to us, you are representing that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 18 or allow them to buy products from us. We take children’s privacy seriously and encourage parents to play an active role in their children’s online experience at all times.

Who do we share your personal data with?

We take care and endeavour to use the services of only those persons who are responsible for the protection of personal data and apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure their security.

External persons, entities and companies that provide support activities for us:
These are contractors who maintain the equipment, software and hardware used to process personal data and required to build and operate our Site, as well as persons providing core services to us in various fields, such as hosting, data storage and security, accounting and reporting services. The data we provide to them are at minimum and does not exceed the purpose for which we do it.

Payments:

When you by a Product from us, we may share your billing details with our accountant in order to provide you with an invoice.
When you make a payment to us you share your data with the bank or the payment process. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to them and we are not liable for the use of your data by them. Please, make sure that you have read their privacy policies.

Couriers:

When we ship the product you bought, we use the services of a licenced courier services provider specified by you or chosen by us. We share with this provider only the information necessary for the shipment and delivery of the product to your address.

How do we protect your personal data?

We do our best to collect, process and store personal data in compliance with the legal requirements and to apply adequate technical and organizational security measures. We choose carefully such service providers that are committed to privacy.
With the purpose of maximum security upon processing, transfer and storage of personal data, we use where necessary, additional mechanisms for protection such as encryption.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We store your personal data for the period required by law or necessary to perform the contract with you or to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law or in order to protect our legitimate interests or your rights.
We store and use the data you have provided for the performance of a contract (e. g. when you buy a product from us) for a period of 5 years from the date of execution of each specific purchase in order to protect our and your legitimate interest.
We store your e-mails and other types of correspondence addressed to us for no longer than 5 years together with your contact details.
When the personal data we collect are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were collected and their retention period have expired, we delete them or otherwise destroy them.

What are your rights as data subjects?

According to the General Data Protection Regulation applicable to us as a data controller based in the European Union you have the right:

  • to request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • to request that we rectify or erase your personal data;
  • to object to their processing;
  • to request that we restrict or block the processing of your personal data;
  • to data portability, i. e., under certain circumstances, to receive personal data about you that we store and transmit to another without hindrance from us, including requesting that we provide your personal data directly to another;
  • to withdraw consent to processing your personal data, where we previously obtained your consent.

We will review your requests and answer you within the time frame specified by the law (1 month as of the date of receipt of the request). In the rare cases when we are not able to answer within this time frame, the law allows us to extend it by two further months. We will inform you of any such extension within one month of receipt of the request, together with the reasons for the delay.
In order to protect both your rights and the rights of other data subjects, in case of doubt who the sender of the request is, we may ask you to provide us with additional information necessary to confirm your identity, including, but not limited to, to send us additional information about you, to send your request signed with qualified electronic signature or other reasonable measures, depending on the request, nature and context of the processing of personal data.
