Muse Coils offers you the manufacture of custom power transformers with its proprietary HiB core modification. The winding for Center tapped rectification is made for the lowest leakage inductance possible during rectifier switching time, to ensure lowest vibration of windings, resulting in the minimal mechanical modulation transferred to the rest of the device. They are over specced in terms of VA to ensure cool operation when used to power a class A operation amplifier.
The internals consist of carefully wound, tight windings, additionally inspected, and packed by hand. The core is HiB with a proprietary modification. Between each winding layer lies a dampening layer of paper. The resulting coils are deeply impregnated within an inhouse high-temperature wax that delivers a fusion of energy, smoothness, and soundstage immersion to the midrange. The mounting elements, all playing a part in the sound reproduction, are made from carefully selected Brazilian hardwood, linked together with brass-alloy rods. Output terminals are not left neglected either, being modified with a mixture of annealed silver and African hardwood. The core is hard-rock glued to ensure silent operation.
